Studio Policies

Dr. Susan Wang-Selfridge Music Studio is committed to creating a positive, professional, and enriching learning environment. To ensure the best experience for all students, please note the following policies:

1. Scheduling and Attendance:

• Lessons are scheduled weekly at a consistent time. Please notify Dr. Susan at least 24 hours in advance for any cancellations or rescheduling needs.

2. Practice Expectations:

• Regular, focused practice is essential for progress. Students should follow practice instructions provided during lessons and maintain a practice log if requested.

3. Parental Involvement:

• Parents of younger students are encouraged to attend lessons periodically to better support their child’s practice at home.

4. Materials and Instruments:

• Students must bring their assigned music books, materials, and any other required items to each lesson. A well-maintained instrument at home is essential for effective practice.

5. Payment and Fees:

• Lessons are billed monthly, with payment due at the start of each month. Missed lessons without notice are non-refundable
